FAQ’S

Please make sure to read this through before ordering.

  • Each Valvet cake is homemade and takes time to craft, so I take orders at least 5 days in advance.

  • I currently deliver (extra $12) only within the Northern Beaches, covering the triangle between Palm Beach, Belrose, and Manly.

  • If you're picking up your cake, please bring an insulated bag or a cooler with ice packs to keep it well-chilled. Be sure to place it back in the fridge as soon as you can.

  • Once removed from the freezer, the cake can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Entremets are frozen cakes (to create their signature layers) and should be thawed in the fridge for at least 8 hours before serving.

  • No. Not yet at least.

    My entremets contain flour.

  • To start making your cake, full payment is required. I'll email you an invoice, and you can pay by credit card or bank transfer.

    • If you need to change your pickup date, please request this at least 5 days in advance of your original collection date.

    • To receive a full refund, cancellations must also be made at least 5 days before the scheduled collection date.

    • Cancellations requested less than 5 days before collection are non-refundable.

    • All change and cancellation requests must be sent in writing to contact@valerieprudon.com

    • If you do not collect your order on your chosen collection date, or if you are not home to receive it, you will not be eligible for a refund, and we cannot guarantee that your order will be held for another day.
